Dark Faeries

A good creature turned bad. These play a (very minor) role in LHA. One of the mini-quests in the Mana Fields involves you protecting the last tree from waves of them.

I'll have some more variants and frankensprites of this in my game, but it's up to you to make your own. Any requests? Most of what I've made won't be released to the public unless you ask. :)

Hype Machine

I was informed of another commercial Rpg Maker VX game in development. This one is a comedy rpg titled Hero Scratch.

Be sure to check his blog regularly for handy advice that can help you with creating your game. :)

Dev Advice

You should try avoiding colors and sound effects for your puzzles. Many players are colorblind or hearing impaired. If you do use colors, try to make sure they're noticeably different from each other besides hue changes.

Try to leave some of your story unexplained. The player's imagination can fill in the blanks in a much more interesting way than you could.

Up & Coming

I've been working hard this past week on a new feature for LHA. The full game will now have outdoor areas that act as optional giant dungeons/quest areas along the way to the real destinations.
